The all-in price for Dimakos' car is $289,250, with its two big performance options being carbon-ceramic brakes ($9,210) and the Weissach pack, which adds lighter magnesium wheels, among other lightweighting revisions ($33,520). These are solid numbers for a GT racer and absurd ones for a production car with a starting price of $226,950. Porsche says it makes 895 pounds of downforce at 124 mph and 1,896 at 177. With its variety of static and active aerodynamic elements like its movable rear-wing drag-reduction system (DRS), it generates big downforce under braking and through corners while dumping aero drag to still pull strongly on straight sections. ![]()
